TIME INTERIOR is a solo piano project by Russian Persian musician Roksana Zeinapur. Based in Los Angeles, Roksana creates evocative cinematic piano soundscapes reminiscent of music by Eric Satie, Nils Frahm and Johann Johannsson. Born and raised on the Baltic coast in Riga, Latvia, Roksana brings a background in opera and classical piano to the world postclassical piano music.

TIME INTERIOR was created in the stillness of social isolation during the COVID 19 Quarantine in 2020. Life came to a standstill, and the need for a new creative pursuit emerged. After years of work as a performer in opera and theater, Roksana suddenly found herself in creative isolation and started to compose and record new music. Music that encourages stillness and introspection. Music that aims to comfort and heal.

 

The project continues to evolve, incorporating different styles and instruments, but always with the goal of promoting peace and mindfulness in our continually unstable and bewildering world.
